Who We Are
Impact NOW is a community of Christian workers who aim to create a change within the city of Bankstown and beyond. With our skills and gifts, we hope to work together to impact those around us and those ahead of us - as we also seek to raise and birth a new generation of believers who will flourish and achieve the goals of this community. Impact NOW seeks to achieve God's will in both the individuals but also in the community of the cities around us and ultimately the world.
Our Vision
Our Mission
Core Values and Statement of Faith
SERVANT-LEADERSHIP
We believe that the desire to ensure that other people's needs are being served is a fundamental characteristic of a servant-leader.
We are committed to a Christlike love expressed in all we are and do, giving ourselves to the highest good of our church community and the wider community in which we live in.
EFFECTIVE SERVICE
We believe that we must serve God and people through our spiritual gifts, our natural abilities, our time, and our resources.
We are dedicated to giving ourselves to serve the cause of Christ and the extension of the kingdom of God.
GENEROSITY
We believe that giving is one of the essential marks of a disciple and one of the most tangible expressions of our faith.
We encourage our people to give generously and sacrificially of their time, talent and treasure not only to the ministry of Impact NOW, but also to those in need in the greater community.
PASSIONATE EVANGELISM
We believe it is God's will for all people to know Him and be made new in Christ.
We are committed to reach out to people everywhere so they can hear the life changing message of salvation through Jesus Christ through our witness and loving actions.
FAMILY
We believe that a strong family helps build a strong church.
We will strive to create in our family, both natural and spiritual, an environment where each of us can find support and encouragement in achieving our life's goals and God's purposes.
SENSE OF COMMUNITY
We believe that life-change happens best in community and that the church should be culturally relevant while remaining biblically pure.
We develop caring relationships with one another, hold each other accountable and offer newcomers a place to belong no matter where they come from.
CREATIVITY & INNOVATION
We believe that to be relevant we need to challenge ourselves to envision and pursue new and better ways to deliver our message through innovative solutions that enable the church to realize its vision.
We encourage creativity and innovation, flexibility with effectiveness in ministry than adherence to traditions and status quo.
EXCELLENCE
We believe that excellence honours God and inspires people.
We will strive to maintain a high standard of excellence to the glory of God, in the ministries and activities of JLHF, which will be achieved when every person is exercising his or her God-given gifts, talents and skills to the best of his or her ability.

History and Background
Being called to Australia, Pastor Rodel arrived in Sydney in March of 1988, establishing what would become the church Jesus Lord of the Harvest Fellowship (JLHF) in a house with three families in Bankstown.
In the years that followed, along with growth in numbers, JLHF moved and rented various buildings within the Bankstown area such as the Bankstown Arts and Crafts Centre, and the Lithuanian Club. Eventually in 2003, along with the acquirement of their own building, JLHF revitalised that becomes that Impact NOW church that exists today.
Impact NOW has been an actives members of the Australian Christian Church’s since 1997. By 2007, it has become a part of the ISAAC Network (International Strategic Alliance of Apostolic Churches), and our members still actively attend it’s conferences in Muar to this day.
Our demographic, while mostly consisting of first and second-generation Filipinos, Impact NOW strives to coincide with the varying nationalities and welcomes all to be invited and joined together.
