5. Online Giving, Donations and Tithes

Impact Now may provide online forms that allow users to give tithes, offerings, or donations through this website. By submitting an online payment, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

All payments made through the website are processed in Australian Dollars unless stated otherwise. Online payments may be processed through a secure third-party payment gateway, and by proceeding with a transaction you may also be subject to the terms and conditions of that payment provider.

You are responsible for checking that you have selected the correct giving type, amount, frequency, and fund before confirming your payment. Once submitted, payments may be processed immediately.

6. Tax Deductibility

Tithes, offerings, and general giving to a church are not automatically tax deductible. In Australia, a donor can generally only claim a tax deduction where the gift is made to an organisation or fund that has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, and not all charities or church entities qualify.

If Impact Now provides giving options linked to a specific fund with DGR status, any statement about tax deductibility will apply only to that eligible fund and not necessarily to all payments made through the website. Donors should obtain their own tax advice if they are unsure whether a contribution is tax deductible in their personal circumstances.

7. Recurring Giving

If recurring giving is offered, you authorise Impact Now or its payment provider to process the recurring payments using the payment details you provide until you cancel or amend the arrangement. If you would like to change or cancel a recurring payment, please contact admin@impactnow.com.au. Please allow a reasonable processing time before the next scheduled payment.

8. Refunds and Payment Errors

If you believe a payment has been made in error, please contact us as soon as possible at admin@impactnow.com.au. Requests for refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Impact Now is not obliged to provide refunds for voluntary donations, tithes, or offerings except where required by law or where a genuine error has occurred. We will handle refund requests fairly and in good faith, taking into account the circumstances of the payment and any legal obligations that apply.
